OrthoLoneStar keeps growing!

OrthoLoneStar continues to grow as its six founding divisions added new doctors and locations over the past year. Our group of independent Orthopedic practices serve Texans across large metro areas including Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Tyler and their surrounding communities. As leaders in the Orthopedic space, we’re fortunate to attract highly trained specialists from across the country to join our divisions. Along with our growth in 2025, we will be welcoming our seventh division, Legacy Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, based in Allen, Texas, to our MSO in 2026. Read more about our expansion.

Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine

Advanced Orthopaedics has been providing specialized Orthopedic care to patients in Houston and surrounding areas since 1983. In 2025, they added two new doctors to their team: Dr. Tyler P. Roberts and Dr. Joshua H. Lee. Dr. Roberts is fellowship-trained in adult reconstruction and joint replacement and specializes in hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. Lee is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic spine surgeon. Along with adding two new doctors, Advanced moved their Lakewood office to Northpointe. With this move, they currently have offices in North Cypress, Northpointe, Town Lake and Kingwood.

Azalea Orthopedics

Established in 1993, Azalea Orthopedics has a huge footprint across East Texas with eight locations serving patients across the region. Their growing team of doctors includes the addition of Dr. Brendan Langford to their spine team of doctors. Dr. Langford is a fellowship-trained interventional pain management physician who is also board-certified through the American Board of Anesthesiology. Among their eight locations, Azalea continues to expand the services of their Athens location and recently opened a satellite office in Lufkin. Azalea Orthopedics currently has offices in Athens, Tyler, Longview, Lufkin, Mount Pleasant, Nacogdoches and Palestine.

Carrell Clinic

Carrell Clinic has been a leader in musculoskeletal care in the Dallas metro area since opening in 1921. Their most recent physician additions include Dr. Canon C. Cornelius and Dr. David C. Tietze. Dr. Cornelius is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist, while Dr. Tietze is a board-certified, fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine doctor specializing in non-operative sports medicine. Both doctors see patients in Dallas and Frisco.

Fondren Orthopedic Group

The Fondren Orthopedic Group, a well-established private practice serving the Houston area, has experienced notable growth in 2025 with the addition of five new doctors along with location updates. Joining their medical team in 2025 include Dr. Cory Couch: Joint Replacement and Orthopedic Oncology; Dr. Drake Lebrun: Joint Replacement; Dr. Joshua Russell: Sports Medicine; Dr. David Sollaccio: Upper Extremity (Hand/Wrist/Elbow), and Dr. Wame Waggenspack: Shoulder Specialist. In late 2024, Dr. Catherine Cahill: Joint Replacement, also joined the Fondren team. All of these physicians are highly educated and fellowship-trained in their fields.

Fondren also saw growth and changes in their office locations including adding new offices in Baytown North and Katy. Their Memorial City office moved into a larger space and their Willowbrook office moved to Cypress. They currently have plans to open two new locations in 2026. They also have offices in Houston, Clear Lake, Gulf Freeway, Pearland, Kingwood and Sugar Land.

Texas Orthopaedic Associates

Texas Orthopaedic Associates serves patients across the Dallas Fort Worth metro area, Plano, Weatherford, Keller and surrounding communities. This year they’ve added two new physicians to their team: Dr. Jacob Becker and Dr. Luis Felipe Colón. Dr. Becker is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic surgeon, specializing in hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. Colón is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic spine surgeon. This past year, they moved their TOA Sports Medicine location from Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas, to Greenville Avenue in Dallas.

Texas Orthopedics Sports & Rehabilitation Associates

Texas Orthopedics began serving patients in 1986 and continues to experience steady growth each year. In 2025, they added three new doctors to their medical team: Dr. Andrew Pham, fellowship-trained Orthopedic spine surgeon; Dr. Justin Vickery, fellowship-trained Orthopedic spine surgeon, and Dr. Chase Romere, fellowship-trained Foot and Ankle specialist. In addition, they built a brand new office in Leander, Texas, ranked as one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Texas Orthopedics also has offices in Central Austin, North Austin, South Austin, Kyle, Lakeway and Round Rock. They have plans to open a new location in early 2026.
